001. Everlasting Life, Light and Love
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV).
Almighty God, our Father, stepped down into this world through the person of His only begotten Son, Jesus of Nazareth. And God did this for the reason of salvation: His saving grace, given to us freely when we believe in His Son Jesus, and receive Him into our lives as our Lord and Saviour.

002. Roll Over Your Concerns to God
“Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass” (Psalm 37:5).
In the Hebrew, the word for “commit” means “to roll.” As we seek the Lord and roll our burdens over to Him, He will sustain us and take us through the way we should go. He knows the way out and will direct us through it if we trust Him. God is faithful and will give us peace of mind along the way; only He has the answer, and is the answer.

003. Our Father In Heaven
“Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name…” (Matthew 6:9)
In addressing God as “Our Father which art in heaven…” Jesus was teaching there is a common bond between us all. This assures us that we are all brothers and sisters to each other. Notice too, that Jesus did not say: “Pray to God up in heaven and ask for your needs” but began with the direct appeal to “our Father” in an intimate way for our needs. Here Jesus was speaking of relationship.

004. We Did Not Make Ourselves
“Know ye that it is the Lord…it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves…” (Psalm 100:3)
Think about it. We are accountable to God who has made us…He created us out of nothing and sustains us, spiritually and naturally. Whether we have been on good terms with our earthly father or not, we have a Father in heaven who loves us and is of more importance to us than anyone in the world.
